Who am I???
I am Sheldon B. Williams. A native Houstonian and up coming writer who happens to be proud of my heritage, my people and City. I believe that somewhere down the line, we as African Americans have lost sight of Our rich Heritage and often show a lack of support for one another. I have taken a vow to support and encourage my people in all things which are positive by sharing information about local African American events with others.

The Story Behind My Site
Being a Native of Houston and like many other Houstonians, I have often found out about an event a bit too late in-order to attend it or simply have just missed it, because I was unaware of it! Well having said to myself time and time again, that I wished that I had known about the event before hand. So one day I decided to do something about it and that something was to build this site, so that others who have found themselves in my shoe, would no longer be stuck out! This site is to inform Houston of the events taking place in the African American Community that show or have a positive impact on our culture.
